Three views, mounted adjacent, of Gadís Hill Place, the house Dickens occupied from March 14th, 1856 until his death on June 9th, 1870.  First is a sketch of ďThe Chalet" at Gadís Hill.  This chalet was presented to Dickens by his close friend, actor Charles Fechter.  Much of Dickensís work from 1856 to 1870 was written in the chalet.  Second is a sketch of "The Porch at Gadís Hill," with Dickens standing in the doorway.  Third is a sketch, entitled ďHouse and Conservatory: From the Meadow,Ē of the House and Conservatory at Gadís Hill.
